4 inch - 101,6mm TÜV-Downpipe for RS 3, TT RS, RS Q3 - OPF - DNW

The HPerformance 4 inch 101.6mm downpipe comes directly from the development of our 1/4 mile vehicle into series production. It is the first downpipe in the world to be built with this pipe diameter throughout. It starts at the turbo outlet and replaces the standard pre-catalyser. Our TÜV downpipe comes with 2 x 400 cell catalytic converters, which can be used far beyond the TÜV-approved range (600 hp) and also uses OPF filters. We also install this variant in the approved performance level with 600 hp in all OPF models.

The downpipe can be exchanged for the standard downpipe. Especially with the OPF models, there is a clearly noticeable difference between 3.5 inch / 88.9mm and 4 inch / 101.6mm in exhaust back pressure and temperature recordings. On average, the exhaust backpressure of the 4-inch OPF downpipe is another 119 millibars (mbar) below the level of a 3.5-inch variant. The exhaust gas temperature under continuous load with the 4-inch variant is on average 15 °C below the 3.5-inch variant.

These advantages are now also available for the road, as the downpipe has been made ready for series production.

Any modification to catalytic converters (replacement, change of cells or size - different from the original state) requires a software adaptation of the engine control unit. With our remote flash solution, we also offer suitable tuning for the DNW 2.5 TFSI.

Important: Our so-called TÜV catalytic converter / TÜV downpipe is supplied without TÜV documentation. In combination with our software and hardware, it fulfils the requirements for TÜV registration and can be registered at our premises or at one of our authorised dealers. The downpipe is not legal without this registration.
